Costs Lawyer / Costs Draftsperson - High Value PI (Remote) We are looking to recruit an experienced Costs Lawyer / Costs Draftsperson to join our team on a fully remote basis, working predominantly on high-value Personal Injury matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a costs professional who enjoys technically complex work and wants the flexibility of remote working, while remaining involved in challenging, high-value cases. The Role - Drafting Bills of Costs on high-value PI matters (including multi-track and catastrophic injury claims) - Advising on costs strategy, recovery, and risk - Dealing with Points of Dispute and Replies - Negotiating costs and conducting detailed assessment proceedings - Supporting fee earners on complex costs issues throughout the lifecycle of a claim About You - Proven experience handling high-value PI costs work - Strong technical knowledge of the CPR, Costs Practice Direction, and case law - Confident drafting and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently in a remote environment - Qualified Costs Lawyer preferred, but experienced Draftspersons are encouraged to apply What's On Offer - 100% remote working - Competitive salary, dependent on experience - High-quality, complex caseload - Supportive and collaborative team culture - Long-term progression and stability BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
