Residential Conveyancer Location: Reading, Berkshire (with hybrid working options) Department: Residential Property Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent This highly respected, full-service law firm based in the heart of Reading. This Residential Property team is growing, and are looking for an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancer to join thier friendly and collaborative department. About the Role: You will handle your own caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to post-completion, with support from paralegals and administrative staff. You will work closely with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders, delivering high-quality, efficient legal services. Responsibilities: Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases Remortgages Transfers of equity Lease extensions and new builds Liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents, and other solicitors Maintain excellent client care and ensure matters progress efficiently Ensure compliance with CQS, SRA and firm procedures Use our case management system to maintain accurate records Requirements: Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer Minimum 2 years' experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures, legislation, and compliance Excellent communication and client relationship skills Ability to manage workload independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with Lexcel/CQS procedures preferred What We Offer: A supportive, collaborative working environment Competitive salary and bonus scheme 25 days holiday + bank holidays + option to buy/sell leave Hybrid working options (following successful probation) Private medical insurance and pension scheme Opportunities for career progression and training BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
