Defendant Credit Hire Fee Earner Location:Hybrid About the Role We are seeking an experienced Defendant Credit Hire Fee Earner to join our growing motor litigation team. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of defendant credit hire matters, handling claims from inception through to settlement or litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated fee earner to develop their expertise within a supportive and forward-thinking legal environment. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of defendant credit hire files Reviewing and analysing credit hire claims, evidence, and quantum Identifying and advancing effective liability and quantum defences Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and schedules Negotiating settlements with claimant solicitors Instructing counsel and liaising with experts where required Ensuring compliance with CPR, court deadlines, and internal procedures Providing clear advice to insurer and corporate clients About You Previous experience handling defendant credit hire claims is essential Strong knowledge of credit hire law.
