The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a highly regarded claimant team in the West Midlands. Working alongside experienced senior lawyers on complex and high-value matters, the successful candidate will also manage their own caseload and play an important role in supporting clients through sensitive and challenging circumstances.
The team handles a broad range of complex medical negligence matters, including catastrophic brain injuries, delayed cancer diagnoses, fatal claims, avoidable deaths, orthopaedic injuries, and other serious life-impacting cases.
This role is ideal for a solicitor looking to further develop their expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment that combines technical excellence with genuine client care.
Key Responsibilities
Manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters, including litigated files
Assist senior lawyers on high-value and complex medical negligence claims
Provide clear, compassionate, and commercially sound legal advice to clients
Build strong relationships with clients while supporting them through sensitive matters
Collaborate with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver a seamless client experience
Support the progression of complex claims across a variety of medical disciplines
About You
2-5 years PQE with strong claimant clinical negligence experience
Experience independently managing your own caseload, including litigated matters
Strong technical knowledge and ability to provide practical legal advice
Experience supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value claims
Excellent communication, organisational, and client-care skills
Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
Empathetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent client outcomes
