PI Solicitor Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor to join a well-established law firm based in Leeds City Centre. The firm offer flexible and agile working, together with a positive work-life balance. As a solicitor in the PI team, you will be responsible for managing and proactively progressing your own portfolio of claims (predominantly EL/PL but also to include RTA and disease claims), whilst keeping relevant parties updated. You will run the cases from initial instruction stage through to settlement and will review and reply to all correspondence and emails from the client and all parties in the claim. You'll take ownership of your own caseload of pre- and post-litigated EL/PL and RTA files, managing claims from inception to settlement. With a strong focus on quality client care and efficient case progression, you'll play an important role within a highly experienced team. About you/The role 1-7 years PQE solicitor or equivalent experience Draft legal documents including documents for submission on the MOJ Portal, witness statements, schedule of loss and correspondence. Liaise with clients, medical professionals and third parties Conduct legal research and keep up to date with changes in personal injury law and procedure Strong experience in managing caseloads independently Solid litigation experience; experience with EL and PL desirable Excellent client care, negotiation, and communication skills Working knowledge of the MOJ Pre Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules Happy to work towards targets Highly professional manner Organisations skills are essential Ability to work well under pressure and maintain attention to detail Benefits Alongside a competitive salary, other benefits include: An annual bonus scheme of up to 10% of your basic salary 33 days holiday including bank holidays and long service increments of an additional 2 days at five years and 3 further days at ten years' service.
