A well-established law firm representing financial institutions in a wide range of banking law matters is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to provide legal oversight and strategic direction for the firm's litigation practice. This role requires significant litigation experience, a background in banking or finance law, strong compliance judgment, and the ability to manage a variety of cases from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal oversight and strategic direction for the firm's litigation matters.
Manage a diverse caseload of banking litigation matters.
Ensure strict compliance with state, federal, and regulatory laws.
Handle specialized cases (e.g., judicial foreclosure, probate, title curative matters).
Monitor regulatory changes and recommend process modifications.
Provide legal guidance to operational staff on litigation-related issues.
Review and approve procedural changes for legal soundness.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of active litigation experience.
Proven expertise in contested default and banking/mortgage servicing litigation.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Superior organizational and case management skills.
High proficiency in legal research (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active license in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas.
Admission to practice before all four Texas federal district courts preferred.
Work Schedule:
The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees are required to be onsite 2-3 days per week following a 90-day training period and upon management approval.
Salary Range:
The salary for this position typically ranges from $98,000 - $128,000, depending on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and business needs.
