The Opportunity The successful candidate will join a specialist Insurance Recovery team advising corporate policyholders on a broad range of complex insurance and risk management matters. Unlike many insurance practices, this team exclusively represents policyholders rather than insurers, allowing its attorneys to focus entirely on protecting clients' interests and maximising insurance recoveries. The practice handles matters throughout the insurance lifecycle, from policy placement and coverage reviews through claims management, pre-litigation strategy and complex coverage disputes. The team has an impressive track record, having helped secure billions of dollars in insurance recoveries for clients across a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities & Experience The ideal candidate will have between 5 and 15 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in insurance recovery and commercial insurance coverage matters. Relevant experience may include: Commercial property and business interruption. Commercial General Liability (CGL). Directors & Officers (D&O) liability. Cyber insurance and intellectual property coverage. Errors & Omissions (E&O). Representations & Warranties insurance. Builders' risk and construction-related coverage. Fiduciary liability and employment practices liability. Environmental and pollution coverage. Complex commercial coverage disputes and litigation.
