A leading, fast-growing law firm in Wales is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Conveyancing team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload while contributing to the continued growth and success of the team.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
Managing workload capacity and working towards monthly performance targets
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including SRA/CLC Codes of Conduct and Land Registry regulations
Delivering a consistently high level of client care
Working effectively with a case management system
Undertaking thorough due diligence, including title checks, searches and review of legal documentation
Drafting contracts, deeds and associated conveyancing documents
Supervising and supporting a small team of legal assistants
Liaising with clients, lenders, solicitors and other third parties throughout the transaction lifecycle
Providing clear, practical advice to clients on conveyancing and property law matters
Keeping up to date with changes in property law and best practice
Maintaining accurate and compliant records at all times
Candidate Profile
Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead by example
Confident working autonomously and making informed decisions
Sound knowledge of conveyancing regulations and compliance requirements (SRA, CLC, Land Registry)
Experience handling freehold, leasehold and unregistered sales and purchases
Experience with new-build transactions, shared ownership and remortgages
High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to motivate, support and inspire others
