Costs Lawyer- Hybrid Working | £35,000-£55,000 + Benefits Are you a qualified Costs Lawyer or experienced Costs Draftsperson looking to join a dynamic, well-established legal team? We're working with a respected UK law firm seeking to expand its in-house costs department with a confident and capable costs professional. ?? Location: Flexible hybrid working available ?? Salary: £35,000-£55,000 DOE + bonus + full benefits ?? Contract: Full-time, permanent The Role This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm with a strong pipeline of quality work As a key member of the team, you will: Prepare and negotiate Bills of Costs (including electronic bills) Draft Points of Dispute and Points of Reply Handle costs budgeting, preparation of budgets (Precedent H), and budget discussion reports Conduct negotiations and, where required, assist on Costs Assessments Work closely with fee earners and partners to support effective recovery of costs About You ? Qualified Costs Lawyer (ACL) or highly experienced Costs Draftsperson ? Strong working knowledge of CPR, costs management, and relevant case law ? Ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision ? Experience with high-value litigation an advantage ? Proficient in CostsMaster or similar software Why Join? ?
