Credit Hire Solicitor

Credit Hire Litigator We have a role for a Credit Hire Litigator to join a leading Motor team who offer a full service with dedicated teams dealing with fast track, multi track, fraud, credit hire, indemnity issues and representation at inquests and criminal prosecutions. They are currently recruiting for a Solicitor NQ to 3 YRS PQE to manage a caseload of credit hire cases to join our team in Liverpool or Manchester. Main duties and responsibilities: Manage caseload effectively and efficiently Initially review liability and quantum Claimant Solicitor conduct before devising a strategy for continued handling; Handle cases to conclusion including instructing investigators, posing Part 35 questions, instructing Counsel and making Part 36 offers; Complete client and firm MI procedures Comply with client SLAs, e-manual and local claims handling requirements Achieve set chargeable hours and financial targets Comply with Data Protection Procedures The above is not intended to be exhaustive and you will be expected to perform other duties and have other responsibilities that fall within the wider remit of the role. About You: You will be a qualified Solicitor with a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. As the role is varied, we are looking for you to have a flexible approach to the work you do and be able to adapt to different tasks. We also require you to have: NQ to 3 Years PQE: Experience of handling/assisting a case load of litigated motor files, preferably as a Defendant Credit hire experience Knowledge of CPR Ability to work to meet deadlines and hit targets Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative Excellent communication skills: If you meet our criteria and think this is a job where you could bring enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn, then we look forward to receiving your application.
