The Opportunity:
A well-established and highly regarded law firm on the South Coast is seeking a proactive and experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their conveyancing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where client care, legal excellence, and professional growth are highly valued.
You'll be handling a full caseload of residential property matters from start to finish, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity. Key Responsibilities:
Manage residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion.
Draft and review contracts for both freehold and leasehold properties.
Confidently handle registered and unregistered land matters.
Raise and respond to enquiries, resolving title issues as required.
Handle re-mortgages and transfers of equity with attention to detail and compliance.
Deliver accurate and pragmatic legal advice to a broad client base.
Maintain full compliance with regulatory and lender requirements.
Assist in the supervision and mentoring of junior team members.
Identify cross-selling opportunities across other practice areas.
Contribute to marketing and networking efforts to maintain and build the firm's local profile.
About You:
You'll be an organised and client-focused solicitor with strong technical skills and a commercial mindset. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (LPC or SQE route)
Solid experience in residential conveyancing, including both registered and unregistered titles
Familiarity with CQS requirements and Solicitors Accounts Rules
Strong client care skills and a proactive approach to business development
