EL/PL Solicitor

EL/PL Fee Earner/Team Leader Salary: £ up to 50k depending on experience Location: Wirral We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Employment Liability/Public Liability (EL/PL) Team Leader to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the EL/PL claims team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of claims handlers, ensuring the efficient handling of claims, and maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and client satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of EL/PL procedure, exceptional leadership abilities, and a commitment to risk management and legal compliance; the right candidate will also have their own caseload. Key Responsibilities: · Lead, motivate, and develop a team of EL/PL claims handlers, ensuring high performance and engagement. · Provide coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. · Conduct performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and promote continuous learning and professional growth. Experience: · Minimum 10 years of experience in employment liability and public liability claims handling, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role. · Proven track record of managing a team in a claims or insurance environment, with expertise in EL/PL claims and legal frameworks.
