1-4 PQE Construction Lawyer - East Midlands (Hybrid)

Our client is a well-established, multi division, £200 million turnover Construction Group, seeking a Construction Lawyer, or a Construction Disputes Lawyer, to assist on a large pipeline of construction projects for its clients in both the private and public sector. Reporting into the Head of Legal you will be tasked with: · Drafting, reviewing and negotiating JCT & NEC contracts, warranties, appointments and generally reviewing & advising on the full suite of construction documents; · Advising on bids and tenders; · Assisting on managing any construction disputes that arise; · advising on other ad hoc generalist matters e.g. commercial contracts for goods and services, property, or general compliance. You will be someone who is able to forge good relationships with and manage relationships with your internal colleagues, who will be senior construction professionals. This is a great opportunity for someone already working in house who is seeking an opportunity to gain more exposure at the sharp end of deals and negotiations, or for someone seeking to make the move in house for the first time, where you will be given plenty of autonomy but with the mentoring / support of the Head of Legal. The business is operating a hybrid working policy with some office contact required in the East Midlands office.
