Interim Data Privacy Lawyer - Retail - Nottingham Our client is a recognised retail business in Nottingham seeking a Data Privacy Lawyer on 12 month fixed term maternity cover, starting asap. Reporting into the Compliance & Privacy Director, you will play a key role in ensuring that business remains on the front foot from a data privacy perspective and the opportunity will see you take on responsibilities including: · Managing the privacy compliance programme, along with management of key internal stakeholders. · Develop & maintain GDPR processes, policies and procedures & deliver training updates to the business. · Carry out DPIA's, support incident response planning and breach reporting procedures. · Support on internal audits and assurance activities related to data privacy compliance. · Managing a junior compliance professional . This is a great opportunity for a data privacy lawyer coming available on short notice seeking to add to their experience in a fast paced, large retail business. The salary is up to £90,000 (DOE) plus a £6,000 car allowance, pension, holidays and bonus.
