Legal Counsel - 3 - 6 PQE - Financial Services - East Midlands

I am working with a national Financial Services organisation which is scaling and driving growth via offering new exciting financial products to its customer base. They are looking for an experienced 3-6 PQE Commercial Lawyer to advise on a wide range of generalist commercial matters. Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will handle a broad range of commercial law matters including: · Leading on the negotiations of commercial contracts with customers and suppliers; · Taking the lead on key legal projects and working closely with decision making stakeholders; · Assisting on more corporate leaning legal work from time to time; · Advising broadly on legal risk and compliance; · Advising on matters such as Consumer Credit and GDPR; and · Managing stakeholder relationships across the business and external law firms. The role is appropriate for a lawyer interested in developing their career within the Financial Services sector. If you've got experience advising Financial Services clients on general commercial matters, banking and finance matters, then we want to hear from you. The base salary is reflective of the fact that this is a 3-6 PQE role, and the package includes a reliable discretionary bonus, pension, healthcare benefits, and a really generous 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Some office contact will be required in the East Midlands HQ 2 days per week.
