Regulatory Lead £60,000- (Flexibility on salary dependent upon experience) Leeds BCL Legal are delighted to be working exclusively with this innovative and forward thinking Mid-Tier Law Firm in Leeds, with the search of a Regulatory Lead. With significant changes affecting the legal profession, this firm is paving the way for innovative compliance and risk management practices and procedures, with one of the most innovative and technically excellent teams in Yorkshire. They recruit people who can think independently, engage with colleagues at all levels and help to further integrate risk management processes into the culture of the firm. As the newly appointed Regulatory Lead, you will play an integral part in ensuring our client meets all of its regulatory and compliance requirements while working in close collaboration with the Head of Risk and Compliance. The Role Reporting into the Head of Risk and Compliance your role will include but not be exclusive to: · Working in close collaboration with stakeholders of the business and wider team · Producing management reports · Project management on regulatory requirements such as anti-bribery & corruption · Leading on anti-money laundering compliance · Drafting and maintaining policies, procedures and controls About you: To be considered for this role, you will need significant experience of working in a Legal risk & compliance role, preferably within a law firm. In addition you will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of AML and be an effective trouble-shooter. You will also be motivated, commercially aware and work well under pressure.
