An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of Ireland's Leading Law Firms as a Risk and Compliance Lawyer. This major player is looking to recruit a seasoned Risk and Compliance Professional to join the team in Dublin. The Risk and Compliance Team plays an integral part of the business support function and ensures that the firm complies with relevant regulatory and professional standards. Benefits As the newly appointed Risk and Compliance Lawyer you will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package including: · A Competitive salary · Up to 5% matched PRSA pension contribution · Private medical insurance · Life assurance · 20 days annual leave + up to 7 company days The Role Reporting into the General Counsel, your role as Risk and Compliance Lawyer will include: · Assuming full responsibility for promoting an elevated level of risk and compliance within the firm · Offering an expert level of advice on Client On-boarding Queries · Advising on Conflicts of Interest and Information Barriers · Providing training on Risk management and Risk Register · Data Protection matters · Claims and Insurance · Ethics and Professional Conduct · Reporting Issues · File Management The Risk and Compliance Lawyer will also work in close collaboration with the firms General Counsel with regards to reviewing and updating the Firm's risk and compliance strategy. The team really invests in its people and it aims to recruit for the long term, supporting its lawyers to develop their skills and work towards a long and successful career. Demands are high in a top ranking firm, but at the same time there is genuine flexibility and agile working is the norm. They are busy and are now looking to take on a solicitor with at least 4-5 year's post qualified experience in a risk and compliance role, with the drive to move their career forward in an intellectually challenging but rewarding working environment.
