Compliance Manager

Our Client one of Scotland's leading law firms is looking for a forward thinking and innovative Compliance Manager to lead their compliance team in Edinburgh. Benefits You will benefit from an excellent comprehensive benefits package including: Private pension Competitive starting salary Study Support 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays A rare opportunity to shape the future of the firm's risk and compliance team and implement your own ideas The Role Reporting to the firms MLRO and GDPR Partner your role will include but not be exclusive to: ·Managing the firm's compliance policies and procedures ·Drafting content for the firms Risk and AML Assessments ·Staying abreast of industry changes and assisting with the updating of policies internally. ·Liaising with external compliance specialists and the GDPR Partner in line with Data Management and Protection ·Managing a small team of compliance assistants ·Identifying knowledge gaps ·Delivering training on all aspects of compliance About you: To be considered for this role you will have a strong understanding of AML and Compliance gained within a Law firm and preferably have experience of managing a small team. In addition you will need to be a confident communicator and demonstrate a working knowledge of the Law Society of Scotland's rules and regulations.
