Our client's Risk and Regulatory team plays a fundamental part in the firm's operational activity and due to its continued success are now looking to for an additional Compliance Officer. The Role Reporting into the Head of Risk and Compliance you will be joining a close-knit team of Compliance Analysts and your role will include supporting the legal and business services departments. You will liaise with external providers and stakeholders of the firm ensuring that compliance is maintained at all times placing specific emphasis on the SRA, ICO and Lexcel standards. You will work in close collaboration with the Compliance Committee, Compliance Officer for Legal Practice and Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration on all aspects of Anti Money Laundering and Due Diligence in addition to advising on and dealing with client and third party complaints. You will also provide advice on adhering with the Solicitors Code of Conduct. About you: To be considered for this role, you will need significant experience of working in a Legal risk & compliance role, preferably within a law firm, with excellent written & verbal communication skills, excellent IT skills, strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and a knowledge of both Data Protection law and Financial Conduct Authority legislation. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of AML and be an effective trouble-shooter.
