The Firm
A Top 50 Am Law firm is seeking a midlevel Associate to join its Data Breach Litigation team in Atlanta or New York. This opportunity offers the chance to work on sophisticated cybersecurity, privacy, and data breach disputes for a diverse client base ranging from public companies to emerging businesses. The role sits within the firm's broader Cyber, Data & Security practice, providing a unique platform to develop beyond traditional data breach litigation. While your initial focus will be on data breach class actions and related regulatory matters, you will also have the opportunity to gain experience across a wider range of cyber and security litigation thanks to the team's highly collaborative, cross-office approach. You will be involved in the full litigation lifecycle, from case strategy and pleadings through discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation. The team is intentionally lean, giving associates substantial responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and the opportunity to take ownership of matters earlier than would typically be possible at a firm of this size. The practice is widely recognised for its strength in complex litigation, cybersecurity, and privacy matters, regularly advising clients on high-profile data breach incidents, class actions, and regulatory investigations. Associates benefit from exposure to cutting-edge legal issues in one of the fastest-growing areas of the legal market. What further sets this opportunity apart is the firm's culture. Despite its elite platform and national reputation, the firm is known for its genuinely flexible office policy and people-first approach, offering a level of trust, support, and work-life balance that is rarely found among firms of this calibre.

* Taking on significant responsibility and client contact as part of a lean, high-performing team
