The Firm A highly regarded Am Law 100 firm is seeking a junior to mid-level Antitrust Associate to join its nationally recognised competition practice. The team is known for handling sophisticated antitrust matters across litigation, government investigations, merger reviews, compliance, and strategic counselling. The practice is a go-to adviser for complex antitrust class actions, FTC and DOJ investigations, merger clearance matters, and competition counselling, giving associates exposure to the full spectrum of antitrust law rather than a narrow specialism. What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day * Represent clients in complex antitrust litigation, including multidistrict litigation and matters involving parallel government investigations. * Handle conduct investigations before the FTC, DOJ, and state attorneys general involving allegations such as price-fixing, market allocation, monopolisation, and other competition-related concerns. * Advise clients through merger investigations and regulatory reviews involving transactions that raise competition issues. * Provide strategic antitrust counselling on distribution arrangements, competitor collaborations, non-compete restrictions, and other commercial practices. * Draft motions, briefs, advocacy materials, and regulatory submissions. * Develop and deliver antitrust compliance programmes and training sessions for legal teams, senior executives, and boards. * Work directly with clients to assess risk, navigate enforcement developments, and implement practical commercial solutions. You Will Have * Experience gained within a leading antitrust or competition practice. * Strong academic credentials and excellent legal drafting abilities. * Exposure to antitrust litigation, investigations, merger reviews, or a combination of these areas. * A strong understanding of antitrust law, enforcement trends, and regulatory developments. * Experience engaging with the FTC and DOJ is highly desirable. * Well-developed advocacy, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * The ability to manage matters independently while exercising sound commercial judgment. * Excellent communication skills and a practical, client-focused approach.
