The Firm An AmLaw Top 50 international law firm is seeking an Associate to join its highly regarded Intellectual Property, Technology, and AI Litigation practice. This is an opportunity to work alongside nationally recognised trial lawyers on some of the most complex and high-profile disputes shaping the future of technology, intellectual property, and artificial intelligence. The team represents many of the world's leading technology companies, innovative growth businesses, and globally recognised brands in landmark litigation involving copyright, trademark, trade secrets, false advertising, and emerging AI-related issues. With a reputation for handling cutting-edge matters at the forefront of legal and technological developments, the practice is regularly involved in precedent-setting disputes that attract national attention. Unlike many IP practices, this team maintains a strong trial focus, giving associates the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility and gain hands-on litigation experience. The group litigates across a broad range of forums, including federal and state courts, administrative tribunals, and arbitration proceedings, while also advising clients on enforcement strategies, risk management, and the legal challenges arising from rapidly evolving technologies. This is a rare opportunity to build a market-leading IP litigation practice, working on high-stakes copyright, trademark, trade secret, false advertising, and AI-related disputes for innovative companies and globally recognised brands. What you will be doing day-to-day * Handle intellectual property and technology disputes, including copyright, trademark, trade secret, false advertising, and AI-related matters. * Develop litigation and enforcement strategies for complex matters. * Advise clients on legal risks associated with product development and emerging technologies. * Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting. * Manage discovery and e-discovery processes, working closely with clients and vendors. * Build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively across teams. You will have * 2 - 4 years' experience in AI, trademark, copyright, false advertising and/or trade secret law * Strong understanding of the necessary statutes such as the Lanham Act, Copyright Act, and Computer access laws * Be highly motivated with excellent academic and communication skills * Be a member of the state bar in the location of which you are applying * Trial experience is preferential but not essential Why this firm? * Be a part of a firm that genuinely fosters collegiality to ensure their practice is both professionally and personally rewarding * A comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, flexible spending accounts and a 401K program * Connect peers and mentors to ensure you are integrated into their client teams * Benefit from top-tier CLE, company retreats and shadowing opportunities * Work within an innovative and dynamic environment For associates looking to deepen their expertise in intellectual property litigation, this role offers exposure to some of the most significant IP and technology disputes in the market, substantial client contact, and the opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners at the forefront of the evolving IP and AI landscape.
