Construction Litigation Associate

I am currently working with a firm who are looking to bring a Mid-level Construction Associate into their highly regarded construction practice. Whilst this opportunity is based in their Boston office, you will be able to collaborate with Partners across all the offices in which the Construction teams are based. From day one you will be given a high level of responsibility across the full litigation lifecycle on high stakes, sophisticated cases. What's in it for you? - You'll be assigned a mentor both at the Partner and Associate level, making sure your transition into the firm is as smooth as possible - Working in a Tier 1 nationally recognized Construction practice - A firm that operates on a 'reverse model' essentially meaning there are more Partners to Associates. This means Associates tend to work 1-1 with Partners on most cases getting unrivalled exposure Main responsibilities: - Representing construction clients in all facets of their businesses (both private and public) - Contract drafting and negotiation, claim preparation and presentation, and mediations, litigation and appeals - Taking and defending depositions What they're looking for: - 3-5 years of experience across the litigation lifecycle - Admission to Massachusetts Bar is a MUST - Must have strong writing and oral communication skills - Able to work independently and as part of a team This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected team where you will be given the chance to really take control of your own work and also get exposure to a number of highly regarded partners across the practice.
