- Antitrust Litigation Associate
Reference Number:
LD/199648
The Antitrust space seems to be one that is still extremely buoyant with a number of firms looking to hire both transactional and litigation focused candidates. I am currently working with an AmLaw 100 firm that is part of this trajectory and are looking for a mid-level Antitrust Associate to join either their New York or Washington D.C. office. They are an international business with over 800 lawyers globally and are in a growth stage.
From day one you will be given serious responsibility and with the lean structure that the Antitrust practice has adopted, you will have a close working relationship with a number of senior Partners across the team. Sophisticated and complex work will be at the forefront of joining a team like this where they protect competition positions, navigate regulatory complexities and achieve strategic objections while managing risk.
As a vital member of the team, you will represent clients in complex antitrust litigation and before government agencies in merger and conduct investigations. You will also provide counseling on antitrust compliance in both merger and conduct matters.
They are looking for candidates ideally with 4+ years of experience who have worked in a leading antitrust practice or at the DOJ or FTC. You will have strong writing and analytical skills as well as litigation and advocacy skills, combined with deep knowledge of antitrust law and enforcement trends. Having a level of familiarity with Section 1 and Section 2 theories of harm and merger analysis along with the ability to advise clients on a wide range of antitrust issues and developed litigation skills such as deposition and drafting are essential.
