Litigation Associate

I am partnered with a full-service AmLaw Top 50 firm who are looking to bring on a junior Associate into their Privacy and Cybersecurity litigation team in New York. They have over 1000 Attorneys worldwide which will give you access to work on a global scale. An opportunity like this would suit someone who is curious about how technology affects consumers and businesses. What's in it for you? - Working for a highly respected and well-known firm in the market - There are a lot of events to help socialize and bring Associates from other offices closer together, working as a unit is important to this firm - Partners encourage Associates to give input on matters whilst also taking on an active role in Associate development - Cravath scale pay Main responsibilities: - You'll be involved in legal research and writing - Drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, and factual investigation - Preparation for depositions and hearings What are they looking for? - Ideally 2-3 years of litigation experience - A genuine interest in class actions, mass arbitration, and disputes involving privacy, cybersecurity, false advertising - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills - Barred in NY If you have been working in Litigation for a couple of years now and would be keen to make the jump into a more technology/cyber focused role, this is the chance to do that.
