Contentious Construction Solicitor | 1-5 PQE | national law firm | Leeds
A leading national law firm is looking to recruit a Contentious Construction Solicitor (1-5 PQE) to join its well-established Leeds team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly regarded construction disputes practice, acting for a broad client base that includes developers, contractors, consultants and insurers. The team is known for handling high-value, complex matters while maintaining a genuinely supportive and collaborative culture.
The Role
You'll be involved in a wide range of contentious construction matters, including:
· Adjudication, arbitration and litigation in the TCC
· Disputes arising from JCT and NEC contracts
· Professional negligence claims
· Supporting senior lawyers on complex, high-value disputes while developing your own caseload
The work is varied, technically strong and offers real scope to build a long-term career in construction disputes.
About You
· Qualified solicitor with 1-5 years' PQE in contentious construction (or strong disputes experience with a construction focus)
· Confident managing matters with appropriate supervision
· Strong drafting and technical skills
· Commercial, proactive and keen to develop within a national practice
