Court of Protection Solicitor (NQ-4 PQE) - Altrincham / Hybrid Working An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Solicitor (NQ-4 years' PQE) to join a growing and highly regarded specialist firm with offices in Altrincham, Chester and London. This is a fantastic role for a junior solicitor looking to develop their expertise within a supportive, well-structured team, reporting directly to the Head of Court of Protection. The firm is continuing to expand and offers genuine long-term progression within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. The Role You will manage a varied caseload of deputyship administration matters, including clients with complex needs and high-value litigation awards. The role will involve: Managing mixed deputy administration files Advising on matters arising under the Mental Capacity Act Working closely with vulnerable clients, families and multidisciplinary teams Drafting legal documents, applications and court documentation Progressing best interests decisions in conjunction with appointed deputies Liaising with Counsel, experts and Costs Draftsmen Attending tribunals and court hearings where required Supervising junior team members including administrators and paralegals This is a full-time role initially based in Altrincham for training purposes, with flexibility to work from home or from the Altrincham/Chester office once training is complete. The Candidate NQ-4 years' PQE with experience in Court of Protection matters Strong client care skills and confidence working with vulnerable individuals Excellent written and verbal communication Highly organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a paperless environment Able to manage deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team The Firm & Benefits This is an employee-owned firm with a strong, values-led culture built around collaboration, trust and ambition.
