Finance Disputes Associate/Managing Associate BCL is assisting a leading international law firm, looking to appoint an Associate or Managing Associate to join its highly regarded Finance Disputes practice in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of complex financial litigation, advising some of the most prominent names in the banking and finance sector. The Opportunity This role offers a rare balance of exposure to high-value, precedent-setting litigation in the higher courts, alongside fast-paced recoveries work for leading banks, asset-based lenders, insolvency practitioners, and private equity investors. You will play a key role in multi-million-pound fraud claims, urgent injunction applications, and cross-border asset recovery, while also advising clients on dispute resolution strategies at pre-action stage. The practice is growing in response to client demand, meaning there is real scope for career development and progression in a supportive and collaborative team environment. About You A qualified lawyer with a strong track record in finance disputes or commercial litigation. You will bring: Experience acting for financial institutions, lenders, or commercial clients. The ability to manage a varied caseload, from complex High Court claims to large-volume recoveries. Knowledge of fraud disputes, injunctions, or cross-border enforcement. A commercial, consultative approach with confidence in advising clients on strategy and risk.
