Health & Safety Associate l Manchester (Hybrid Working Available)

The Opportunity
You will join a collaborative and well-respected team known for delivering exceptional results in regulatory and criminal investigations. The role offers a varied caseload and the chance to work on matters such as serious workplace incidents, inquests, and corporate manslaughter investigations.
The role is varied and interesting and will include;
- Advising clients on health & safety regulatory compliance, policies, and risk management
- Supporting and leading on investigations into serious incidents, including fatalities
- Defending clients in criminal prosecutions brought by regulatory authorities
- Drafting legal documents including witness statements, submissions, and reports
- Representing clients at court hearings, inquests, and regulatory proceedings
- Attending client sites, police stations, and other relevant locations as required
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with experience in regulatory and/or health & safety law
- Background in criminal or regulatory defence work is highly desirable
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills
- Experience with inquests, public inquiries, environmental or transport law is advantageous
- Candidates from regulatory bodies, local authorities, or insurers are also encouraged to apply
