The Opportunity The role will be based in this collaborative commercial team advising a diverse client base, including businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and industry partners. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor on a broad range of intellectual property and commercial matters, with a strong emphasis on practical, business-oriented legal solutions. You will work closely with senior leadership and have real influence over both client strategy and the ongoing development of the IP offering. Key Responsibilities - Advising on a wide range of intellectual property matters, including trade marks, copyright, licensing, and assignments - Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex IP and commercial agreements - Managing and resolving complex IP disputes and enforcement issues - Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice to a varied client base - Keeping up to date with developments in IP law and emerging industry trends - Supporting and developing key client and referrer relationships to drive business growth - Identifying and pursuing opportunities for new business development within the IP and commercial space - Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior lawyers within the team - Supporting the wider commercial team with strategic projects and process improvement initiatives Candidate Requirements - Significant post-qualification experience (PQE) in intellectual property law - Strong technical expertise in IP rights, licensing, enforcement, and related commercial contracts - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills - Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members (desirable) What's on Offer This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious IP lawyer seeking more than just case management.
