- The London restructuring team is experiencing significant growth and handles high-quality, complex matters for a diverse client base.
- You will work alongside experienced partners and senior practitioners as part of a collaborative cross-office Restructuring & Insolvency team within the Banking department.
- The team advises all stakeholders in distressed situations including lenders, investors, corporates, directors, individuals, and insolvency practitioners.
The role:
- This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding practice undertaking predominantly non-contentious restructuring and insolvency work.
- The work is transactional in nature and links closely with the firm's corporate, finance, and real estate teams across the country.
- You will have the opportunity to run matters as the day-to-day fee earner on complex, top-quality work under supervision.
- The role offers genuine scope to develop your legal abilities whilst actively contributing to growing and developing the practice.
- You will be expected to participate in marketing and business development activities to help build the team's market presence.
About you:
- Applications are sought from technically strong restructuring and insolvency solicitors at from 5pqe to 11pqe.
- You should have demonstrable experience of running transactional and advisory matters as the lead day-to-day fee earner.
- Candidates must possess excellent drafting and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly assimilate complex information and focus on key issues whilst managing multiple matters.
- You should demonstrate an understanding of what is needed to grow a practice and show willingness to engage in business development.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
