Information Governance Manager

Join a fast-growing software business as their Information Governance Manager & Data Protection Officer, reporting into a supportive, experienced and down-to-earth Head of Legal. This is a pivotal hire, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of IG and data protection across a business that processes significant volumes of sensitive personal data. The role: This is a broad and impactful role where you'll: · Lead the company's approach to IG and data protection, acting as DPO. · Manage the annual DSPT audit and ensure compliance with IG frameworks. · Develop and deliver IG training and policies across the business. · Work closely with key stakeholders, senior leadership, and customer teams. You'll be supported by the Head of Legal and collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams, but you'll also have the autonomy to set direction and influence outcomes. About you: · Strong background in Information Governance, ideally with public sector exposure. · Able to confidently advise senior stakeholders and customers on IG matters. · Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-paced, growing organisation. · Passionate about IG and data protection, and keen to make a real impact.
