Legal Counsel (6-9 month FTC)

Legal Counsel | Remote | FTC An opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join a fast-moving business on a fixed-term basis (6-9 months). This role is well suited to someone looking for breadth, autonomy, and the chance to make a tangible impact in a lean environment. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing practical, solutions-focused legal support on a range of day-to-day commercial matters. Key responsibilities: · Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs · Supporting sales and procurement teams with contract-related queries · Providing pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders across the business · Helping to build more consistent and efficient legal processes · Acting as a key point of contact for general commercial legal matters About you: · Previous experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts · Prior in-house experience is preferred, though private practice candidates will be considered While the budget is limited, this could suit a senior lawyer working on a part-time basis, or a more junior lawyer looking for a role that offers clear development opportunities.
