Global Construction Company | London (flexible) / Hybrid | £55,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits
I'm currently working on a genuinely standout in-house opportunity with a global construction company.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior construction/projects lawyer looking to move in-house into a highly regarded and collaborative legal team supporting major UK and international infrastructure projects.
The role sits within a sizeable and well-established legal function supporting a global business. The team advises on some of the most high-profile and technically complex projects in the market, with work spanning transport, energy, water, development and infrastructure.
Importantly, this is not a narrow contracts role. The legal team is highly integrated with the business and offers broad exposure across commercial, construction, disputes, governance and international matters over time.
The culture is a major selling point. The team is known for being welcoming, supportive and low ego, with strong work/life balance and flexible working genuinely embedded into the business.
The Role
You will support senior lawyers and the wider business on a broad range of construction and commercial matters, including:
· Consultancy agreements
· Professional appointments
· NDAs
· Collateral warranties
· Novation agreements
· Framework agreements
· General commercial and governance matters
You'll work closely with project teams and senior stakeholders across the business, gaining exposure to high-value and internationally significant projects from an early stage.
About You
This opportunity is likely to suit:
· An England & Wales qualified solicitor (or common law equivalent)
· Around NQ-3 PQE
· Experience within construction, projects or infrastructure matters (preferred)
· Candidates from private practice, in-house or public sector backgrounds
· Someone commercially minded, collaborative and keen to develop broadly in-house
Why This Opportunity?
· Exceptional work/life balance
· Broad and varied in-house exposure
· High-quality, internationally recognised projects
· Supportive and highly regarded legal team
· Strong long-term career platform
· Flexible/hybrid working
· Exposure beyond pure construction law over time
The business is also notably open-minded on backgrounds and career paths, and has built a diverse and inclusive legal team.
If this could be of interest, or you'd like a confidential discussion regarding the team and opportunity, please get in touch.
