CORPORATE SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE THE FIRM - Extremely well regarded national commercial firm - Consistently ranked top in Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for Corporate Law - Regularly ranked as the busiest Corporate team in the North East - An exceptional client base and the opportunity to work on a wide range of corporate transactions THE ROLE - You will be joining this highly acclaimed Corporate team, one of the largest in Newcastle - You will work as part of a structured and fully supportive team with excellent supervision - Tasks and responsibilities include: - Assisting with a wide range of corporate transactions, including company and business sales and purchases and debt and equity fundraisings and investments - Working effectively as part of the team to assist your corporate colleagues with their day to day transactional workloads - Taking client's instructions relating to their transactions - Drafting documents with advice tailored to the client's individual needs which reflect current law and practice - Assisting in negotiations with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives - Attending meetings and negotiations with clients and third parties THE REQUIREMENTS - The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, ideally between 1-8 years PQE, although candidates with more or less experience will be considered on their merits - You will have strong analytical and organisational skills - Previous experience of completing corporate transactional work within a corporate team THE BENEFITS - Competitive salary for Newcastle - Benefits package - Excellent supervision and structured route to promotion - Hybrid and flexible working - Strong social network within the firm, with a focus on well being and employee engagement For more information on this Corporate Solicitor position in Newcastle, please contact Rozie Hunter at BCL Legal.
