COMMERCIAL SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE 2+ Years PQE | Legal 500 Firm | Hybrid Working Available An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join a highly regarded Commercial law firm in Newcastle city centre. Recognised in the Legal 500, they offer a dynamic, forward-thinking environment with real opportunities for career growth and involvement in a wide variety of high-quality work. As a member of the busy and collaborative Commercial department, you will: - Assist the team across a broad range of commercial contract matters - Have direct client contact and build strong, lasting relationships - Be actively involved in business development, networking, and firm-wide initiatives - You'll work on a wide spectrum of matters including: - Manufacturing and supply contracts - Distribution and agency agreements - Franchising arrangements - Terms and conditions of business - Online contracting and e-commerce - Software development, licensing, and distribution - IT supply, support, and consultancy agreements - SaaS, PaaS, and cloud-based services - Outsourcing and joint ventures - Tech-sector transactions (including investments, grants, sales & acquisitions) - Research and development agreements - End User Licence Agreements (EULAs) The Ideal Candidate will be a proactive and commercially aware solicitor who ideally: - Has a minimum of 2 years' PQE in commercial contracts - Is confident managing a diverse workload across a range of sectors - Has experience with tech-sector contracts (desirable but not essential) - Demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to detail - Enjoys client contact and takes pride in delivering excellent client service - Is keen to contribute to business development and firm growth - Can work independently and as part of a wider, collaborative team - Brings a positive, professional approach to their work and relationships This is an opportunity to: - Join a respected, growing Legal 500 firm with ambitious plans - Work in a supportive, open culture that values development and success - Benefit from flexible and hybrid working options - Be part of a team that values client care, innovation, and legal excellence If you're ready to take the next step in your legal career and make an impact within a growing and supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
