Real Estate Finance Solicitor

REAL ESTATE FINANCE SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE This well-established full-service law firm in Newcastle is looking for a qualified Solicitor to join its Real Estate Finance team. The firm has an established and highly regarded Real Estate team, acting for a significant number of sophisticated developers, investors and institutional clients. Hosting one of the largest Real Estate teams in the region, the department comprises seven partners supported by senior associates, associates, solicitors and paralegals. The successful candidate will ideally be 1 PQE with experience in some or all of the following: * Property finance and development finance, acting on a separately represented basis for institutional lenders. * Acting for borrowers alone, as well as borrowers and lenders on a jointly represented basis. * Landlord and tenant matters and a broad range of transactional property work, including acquisitions and disposals. * Experience acting for property investors and exposure to a wide variety of commercial property matters would also be advantageous. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organised and enthusiastic, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently, often to demanding timescales. They will have a strong understanding of the requirements of institutional lender clients and the ability to tailor their approach to meet individual lender expectations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with a commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
