SENIOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT SOLICITOR (6+PQE) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced property lawyer to join a well-established Housebuilding team within a leading Housing practice. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of high-quality residential development matters for national, regional and SME housebuilder clients. You will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the housebuilding offering, advising clients on land acquisitions, site assembly, disposals and wider development projects while working as part of a collaborative, multi-office team. Key responsibilities include: * Advising on site acquisitions, site assembly and disposals for a wide range of residential developers. * Undertaking legal due diligence and preparing detailed reports on title and development matters. * Drafting and negotiating a variety of development documentation, including Contracts, Options, Promotion Agreements, Building Leases, Transfers and Overage Agreements. * Ensuring the efficient transition of newly acquired development sites by providing comprehensive handovers to estate set-up, infrastructure and plot sales teams. * Supervising and mentoring solicitors, trainee solicitors and paralegals, while supporting partners with the development of junior team members. The successful candidate will: - Be a qualified solicitor with ideally 6+ years' post-qualification experience advising housebuilders on land acquisition and residential development matters. - Have a strong commitment to delivering outstanding client service. - Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills. - The ability to manage multiple matters efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. - Strong drafting, communication and negotiation skills. - Confidence supervising and developing junior colleagues.
