We are representing a market-leading, law firm in Dublin seeking a Banking Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join their award-winning Finance team. This is a pivotal role designed for a technically gifted lawyer who enjoys the complexity of the law and wants to influence the direction of a Tier 1 practice. The Role As a Banking PSL, you will be the "brain trust" of the department. This isn't a back-office administrative role; it is a senior-level position that involves: Monitoring and analysing upcoming legislative and regulatory changes (e.g., ESG, interest rate benchmarks, Consumer Protection Code) and briefing the partnership on their impact. Maintaining and drafting the firm's suite of standard-form banking documents and precedents to ensure they remain best-in-class. Designing and delivering high-level training programs for associates and partners. Drafting client alerts, briefing notes, and articles that position the firm as the leading authority in the banking sector. Assisting the Partners with complex technical queries that arise during high-value domestic and international transactions. The Candidate Ideally 4+ years PQE (there is no upper limit on seniority) within a high-caliber Banking & Finance practice. You should have a deep understanding of loan documentation (LMA standards), security structures, and the regulatory landscape. This role is perfect for a Senior Associate or Counsel who loves the "law" but wants more predictable hours and a focused, strategic remit.
