Intellectual Property Associate/Senior Associate (3 -6 PQE), Dublin An international law firm is expanding its Dublin team and seeking an ambitious mid-level IP Associate to join a high-performing, multi-jurisdictional practice. This position offers the rare combination of a market-leading local footprint backed by direct, daily collaboration with an established London team on cross-border IP strategy and complex disputes. What will you be doing? · The majority of your work will be managing and supporting complex, high-value patent disputes, multi-jurisdictional litigation strategy, and technical contentious matters. · Advising on trade mark, copyright, brand protection, and trade secret disputes, alongside commercial IP advisory. · Providing technical IP due diligence, transactional support, and strategic IP drafting for major cross-border M&A and commercial transactions. What is required? · You will be a qualified Solicitor with approximately 3 to 6 years' PQE in Intellectual Property law. · Strong background in patent litigation with a desire to maintain a diverse, broad-ranging IP practice. · Technical academic background (STEM, Life Sciences, or Engineering) is advantageous, though strong technical IP litigation experience is equally valued. · Excellent drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills, with the commercial acumen required to work seamlessly across international offices. Why consider this role? · Exposure to top-tier, complex patent disputes and broad advisory work without losing commercial variety. · Work closely alongside leading IP practitioners in Dublin and London on international mandates. · Direct access to mentorship, high-profile client engagement, and a clear path for professional progression.
