Job Purpose
You will support private equity sponsors, infrastructure funds, lenders, and energy developers as they deploy capital into large-scale renewable energy projects across wind, solar, and storage.
Your role sits at a critical point in the transaction, conducting detailed project document diligence across construction contracts, equipment supply agreements, and offtake arrangements to support the assessment of whether projects are sufficiently robust for institutional financing. By helping identify and analyse key risks, you contribute to how transactions are evaluated and financed.
What You'll Do
* Analyze project documentation, including EPC/construction contracts, equipment supply agreements, and offtake arrangements
* Support diligence processes across renewable energy project financings
* Assist in identifying and flagging commercial and financing risks that may impact lender appetite or deal viability
* Distil complex project contracts into clear summaries and analysis for internal teams and clients
* Support construction financings, term loan facilities, and back-leverage structures through diligence input
* Collaborate with deal teams to ensure project documentation aligns with financing requirements
What You'll Need
* J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
* Admission to the New York Bar
* Minimum 2 years of finance experience at an AmLaw-level firm
* Experience with project finance, project development, or project document review
* Exposure to EPC/construction, equipment supply, or offtake/revenue agreements
