What time did you wake up this morning?

At 6.25am unfortunately – just in time for spin.

What’s your favourite object in your office?

The fizzy water dispenser

Who is your closest colleague?

My lovely assistant, Leora. I’m relatively new and she has been very patient showing me the ropes.

Do you have a favourite family heirloom?

None that I can think of.

What’s your favourite song of all time?

Sittin on the Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding.

What’s your favourite play?

Any of the classic Ancient Greek plays – Medea, Antigone, Oedipus.

Who’s your favourite movie star?

Daniel Day Lewis, particularly in Last of the Mohicans.

What’s your favourite book?

Wuthering Heights or Return of the Native.

What book are you reading right now?

Mythos by Stephen Fry. But it’s an audio book, so I’m cheating slightly.

What book do you wish you had written?

Portrait of a Lady by Henry James.

What’s the greatest invention of all time?

The City Mapper app, as I’m constantly getting lost.

Is there a sport that you wish you could play?

Snooker (or at the very least pool).

Who inspires you in business?

It’s really inspiring working for a woman who has built her own successful business from the ground up.

Dress up, dress down or somewhere in between?

Somewhere in-between, usually.

Where do you go to relax?

Richmond Park or to Hyde Park to feed the ducks.

What country have you always wanted to visit?

Columbia – and luckily I’m visiting in January.

Besides your phone, what do you always have with you?

Lip balm.

What’s the best part about your job?

The moment when you tell a client that you’ve been able to get a great result for them.

What’s your favourite post-work tipple?

An Eastern Standard.
