Legal Counsel (Commercial) - Fully Remote (UK) A high-growth, private equity-backed organisation, at the cutting edge of medical technology, is seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to join its in-house team. This is a fully remote opportunity offering genuine flexibility, high visibility, and the chance to play a key role in a scaling business. The Role You will support the UK and Ireland business, taking ownership of a broad range of commercial contracting matters. The position offers a mix of hands-on drafting and strategic input, with regular exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation. Key aspects of the role include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of client and supplier agreements Supporting tender processes, including reviewing bid documentation and advising on risk Advising on commercial and contractual risk in a pragmatic, solutions-focused way Managing contract variations, renewals, and ongoing commercial relationships Collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as commercial, operations, finance, and compliance Contributing to the development of templates, playbooks, and internal contracting processes About You Qualified solicitor with 4+ PQE Strong background in commercial contracts, gained in private practice or in-house Confident working autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment Commercially astute with a practical, business-oriented approach to legal advice Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making Experience in areas such as procurement, technology, or working within a private equity-backed business would be advantageous, but is not essential.
