Legal Counsel- Public Procurement (Remote)

Public procurement Lawyer - Remote in-house opportunity: Are you a public procurement lawyer considering a first move in-house from private practice? Do you currently work for a business who supply goods or services to central government? If so this role could offer you a great balance with both high-quality, complex work and flexibility in your working day. This global organisation requires a Legal Counsel with extensive experience in public procurement work and complex commercial contracts to join their established team. Reporting to the General Counsel this role will provide the successful lawyer with a varied mix of commercial work ranging from BAU contracts to complex, multi-party procurement agreements. You will: - Provide effective legal and commercial advice and assistance to all levels of the business; - Draft and negotiate contracts (client, supplier facing, partnerships); - Advise on PFI and large complex projects and outsourcing contracts, variations and disputes; and - Government/public sector procurement. This role would be best suited to a commercial lawyer with 2-6 years PQE and experience in commercial law, public procurement and PFI or other complex projects. This could provide a lawyer in private practice with a first move in-house although previous in-house experience is desirable.
