Real Estate Disputes - Senior Associate/Legal Director 6+ PQE - international firm - Birmingham BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting an international law firm in Birmingham city centre looking to recruit an experienced Property Litigation Senior Associate or Legal Director. As a Property Litigation Solicitor in this team you will work on a broad range of disputes for a diverse client base consisting of house-builders, developers and pension funds. This is a permanent, full time position however flexible working requests will be considered and hybrid working is available. The role Caseload is likely to include: - Development related issues such as rights to light, vacant possession strategies and nuisance claims - Contract disputes concerning land, including pre-conditions, breach and overage disputes - Professional negligence issues arising from real estate transactions - Landlord and tenant, especially business tenancies, including acting for clients with large portfolios on asset management issues - Clearing off or enforcing rights on freehold land such as easements or restrictive covenants - 1954 Act renewals - Forfeiture and possession claims - Dilapidations - Rent/Service charge issues - Rent reviews - Insolvency issues impacting on real estate/leases About you To be successful in your application for this Property Litigation Solicitor vacancy, you will: - Be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of six years' experience - Have a good teamwork ethic - Have an interest in business development - Have an interest in supporting, motivating and managing junior fee earners The Offering The successful Property Litigation Solicitor will be rewarded with: - A competitive salary, bonus and comprehensive benefits package - Flexible, supportive and inclusive team environment - Genuine progression opportunities for the right individual to progress upwards towards partnership Apply Now!
