Employment Solicitor 3+ PQE - National firm - Birmingham A highly regarded and top 50 national law firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its employment team in Birmingham. This opportunity is offered on a full or part-time (4 days a week), permanent basis with flexible and hybrid working as standard. The Role As an Employment Solicitor in this team, you would: · Manage a mixed caseload providing support to individuals and businesses in a variety of different sectors. · Advise clients on issues such as redundancies, disciplinary and grievances, Settlement Agreements, TUPE, absence management, a wide range of Employment Tribunal claims and claims in the higher courts. · Predominantly undertake Tribunal work funded by Legal Expenses Insurance. · Work with clients on a national basis dealing with a high volume of employment tribunal claims. · Conduct your own advocacy where appropriate. · Support and mentor paralegals and legal assistants. About You To be successful in your application for this Employment Solicitor vacancy in Birmingham, you will: · A minimum of three years' PQE in employment law · Ideally have experience of representing individuals and businesses funded by legal expenses insurance. · Have significant contentious employment experience. · Have excellent communication skills. · Have a good teamwork ethic and the ability to work on your own initiative.
