Employment Solicitor - NQ-3 PQE - regional firm - Birmingham This is a unique opportunity for a newly qualified Employment Solicitor to join the employment team of a well-known regional firm. This firm has grown considerably over the last few years across the UK. If you have qualified into employment within the last three years or are approaching qualification this year, this could be an excellent opportunity for your career development. The Firm · A strong regional firm with a network of offices across the UK. · A dedicated employment team. · Extensive experience in transactional and contentious employment work for both a claimant and respondent client base. · Clients span a range of sectors and offer varied and complex work. The Role As an Employment Solicitor in this team, you would: · Provide general employment advice to both claimants and respondents; · Draft employment contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures; · Work on Employment tribunal claims; · Write bulletins/articles; · Build and maintain effective client relationships. Candidate Requirements · Employment Solicitor (or soon to qualify) with at least one training seat in employment or otherwise a junior lawyer with up to three years' experience. · A good understanding of employment law. · A genuine commitment to qualifying into employment. · Strong links to the West Midlands.
