Commercial Litigation Solicitor - Senior Associate or Legal Director 5+ PQE- market leading firm - Birmingham BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a Top 100 UK firm that is seeking to recruit an experienced commercial litigation solicitor to join its diverse commercial litigation team in Birmingham. This is a friendly, collaborative and close knit team within a firm known for taking care of its lawyers. Flexible approach to home/office working letting you determine what works best for you. Full or part time (four days a week) applicants will be considered and flexible working options are accommodated. Applicants at the experienced Associate, Senior Associate or Legal Director level will be considered. The role: - This award-winning team advises on a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes, including IT disputes, injunctions, corporate and breach of warranty claims, shareholder disputes, defamation and breach of confidentiality claims, waste management contracts, and general commercial and contractual disputes. - Acting for clients across both the public and private sectors including local authorities, central government bodies, healthcare bodies, financial institutions, private companies and shareholders. - Representing clients engaged in litigation and advising on the various stages through from pre-action to trial. - Mediations and other forms of dispute resolution. About You: - Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE. - Commercially astute. - Able to manage your own caseload. - Able to supervise more junior team members. - Experience of complex litigation. Experience of corporate disputes (breach of warranty claims, shareholder disputes) would be ideal. Experience of IT disputes would also be helpful but not essential. - A strong academic background. - A good teamwork ethic.
