An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Private Client Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a highly ranked and award-winning Private Client team at a leading independent law firm with a strong reputation across the North of England.

The Role
As part of a thriving Private Client & Charities group - one of the largest in the North West - the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic, tailored advice on a broad range of high-value and complex private client matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
Advising on wills, trusts, inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning, business succession planning, and estate administration.
Working closely with high-net-worth clients, multi-generational families, elderly individuals and family businesses.
Taking ownership of a varied caseload while contributing to mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
Building and nurturing client and referrer relationships across the Lancashire market and beyond.
Playing an active role in the strategic development of the firm's private client offering.
Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for an experienced solicitor ready to take the next step in a well-supported and values-led environment.
Essential attributes include:
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in private client law, with exposure to high-value and technically complex matters.
Proven expertise in wills, trusts, estate planning, LPAs and tax-efficient structuring for private individuals and families.
Commercial acumen and a confident, professional approach to client service and relationship management.
A strong network of referrers and contacts or a demonstrable interest in business development.
Supervisory experience or an interest in supporting junior colleagues.
STEP qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable.
