Corporate Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) | Chester We are working on an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) to join a well-regarded and expanding corporate team based in Chester. About the Role: This opportunity sits within a growing regional practice advising a broad range of owner-managed businesses, SMEs and corporate clients across a varied and high-quality client base. Due to continued expansion, the team is looking to appoint a junior corporate lawyer to support an increasing pipeline of transactional and advisory work. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative environment, working closely with two highly experienced Corporate Partners and benefiting from strong supervision, early responsibility and clear progression prospects. The role offers exposure to a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures, shareholder agreements and general corporate advisory work. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with clients and play an active role in business development as your experience develops. What You'll Do: · Advise on a broad range of corporate matters, including M&A, reorganisations, joint ventures and shareholder agreements · Support on a varied mix of transactional and advisory work across a diverse client base · Assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating key corporate documentation · Work closely with partners and senior lawyers on transactions from inception through to completion · Liaise directly with clients, counterparties and advisers · Take on increasing responsibility for managing matters as experience grows · Contribute to business development and wider team initiatives The Ideal Candidate: · NQ-3 PQE corporate solicitor with relevant training or post-qualification experience · Strong grounding in corporate transactional work · Excellent technical ability and commercial awareness · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Proactive, ambitious and keen to develop within a growing team · Collaborative approach and willingness to take on responsibility Why This Role? · Quality Work: Exposure to a broad range of corporate transactions and advisory matters · Strong Platform: Join a growing and well-regarded regional corporate team · Career Development: Clear progression opportunities with hands-on experience and partner support · Supportive Environment: Work closely with experienced Partners in a collaborative setting · Client Exposure: Early responsibility and direct client contact from an early stage If you are a corporate lawyer looking to join a supportive and expanding team offering high-quality work and genuine progression prospects, we would be pleased to discuss this opportunity further.
